Glympse is a location based sharing app, it lets you send a message to your friends either by email or text with a link that will open a webpage and show them your location.

You can specify a one time update, or have the link update your location in real-time for a specified amount of time.

I’ve used it several times when meeting friends in an area I’m not familiar with, it makes finding them so much easier.

They can click the link and see where you are in the browser, you hit the refresh button to get the most up to date map:
